Murdale Wrestling Tournament

Probably one of my favorite assignments I've shot for the student newspaper so far, plus it was my first time shooting high school wrestling, ever. On Jan. 11 the 53rd annual Murdale Wrestling Invitational was held at Carbondale Community High School in Carbondale, Ill., featuring 18 high schools from the southern Illinois and St. Louis area. Originally I came up with this tournament as a sports feature but one of the new sports reporters was tacked alongside me to cover this wrestling tournament. Here are some selects.
